Donor Plaques
Most donor plaques on this page are perpetual plaques, built as one board with a plate for every donor so new names get added and displayed as gifts come in. Hang it once and it grows with your donor list year after year, instead of starting over with a new plaque each campaign.
Every board ships with its name plates attached and blank, plus a header plate engraved with your organization or campaign name. Send names with the order and we engrave them for $10 a plate. Add the rest as the next gifts arrive.
How Names Get Added to a Perpetual Donor Plaque
A perpetual donor plaque arrives with every name plate already mounted. Names you send with the order are engraved for $10 a plate before it ships, and the rest of the plates stay blank until you need them. When a new gift comes in, order a newly engraved plate from Awards.com for $15 plus shipping, or take a blank plate to a local engraver. The header plate with your organization, fund or campaign name is engraved and included either way.
Donor Plaque Sizes and Name Plate Counts
Size a donor plaque by the names you expect to add over the next few years, not the names you have today. Our perpetual donor plaques come in up to 6 sizes, and every one has a header plate on top for your organization's name, logo and program.
| Name plates | Board size | Fills in, at 5 new donors a year |
|---|---|---|
| 12 | 8" x 10" | About 2 years |
| 18 | 9" x 12" | About 4 years |
| 24 | 10.5" x 13" | About 5 years |
| 36 | 12" x 15" | About 7 years |
| 60 | 16" x 20" | 12 years |
| 90 | 18" x 24" | 18 years |
Finishes run black, rosewood, walnut, cherry, red alder and antique bronze, with gold or silver plates, and the photo perpetuals add a picture alongside the names. For header wording and giving level names, see our guide to donor recognition plaques.
